Changelog
Release history and version notes for Pulse Endpoint. Each release includes new features, improvements, and bug fixes.
Fixed
- High CPU usage when the device couldn't reach the Splunk endpoint. CPU now stays flat no matter how much data has queued up.
- Reduced CPU cost when sending large batches to Splunk.
- Installing the LaunchAgent PKG while Pulse was already running launched a second copy of the app.
- If you deploy via MDM or use the LaunchAgent for auto-launch, install the updated LaunchAgent PKG to pick up the fix.
Added
- Accurate per-process memory for system-owned processes via a new root helper daemon
- Silent MDM approval via Apple's Managed Login Items profile
- Signed uninstaller PKG for admin-only removal
Security
- Kernel-enforced code-signing constraint on the helper daemon
- Tightened Developer-ID designated requirement on the XPC connection
Fixed
- Memory Pressure chart incorrectly showing Warning when pressure was Normal
- pulse --start --no-headless not starting monitoring after relaunch
- Health banner getting stuck when the Login Item was disabled post-install
